The candidates of APGA, and the Ogbaru Local Government Chairman of the party, Hon. Nnamdi Ifejika, took turns to address the gathering and appealed for votes, assuring that if elected the people will smile endlessly.

Chief Afam Odogwu (Akalam), who is referred to as the Field Marshal of Ogbaru politics was on hand to receive the rally at the Odekpe end of the procession and he pronounced the death of all other political parties in Ogbaru Local Government, saying “it is only APGA and its candidates that the people of Ogbaru recognize and will vote for”.
